Stays at the Old Hall

Stays with the Tudor and 17th Century Experience will be at the Old Hall, a remarkably well preserved Tudor Manor House built between 1500 and 1514 (with an additional wing added in 1614). The Old Hall lies in the heart of the most Tudor of English counties, Norfolk. It is in a very peaceful rural location, never-the-less with good connections to Norwich, London and the rest of the country.

Stays with us can be of any duration whether just overnight or longer. All bedrooms (or more correctly, 'chambers' as they were referred to in Tudor times) feature period authentic furniture and decoration from early Tudor to Charles II's reign. Each chamber is individually designed with a wide range of character and flair.

The Sir Edward's Great Chamber (1514), Chamberlain's Great Chamber (1614), and George Chamberlayne's Chamber can have ensuite bathrooms, the others have private or shared bathrooms depending on availability.

Prices tba depending on room and season.

A description of each chamber is below and more photos are available at the bottom of the page.
